Secrets To A Stuck Cap

Have you ever gone through your stash, found a color that you are CRAVING, and then the lid turns out to be stuck? Asked your husband/boyfriend/dad repeatedly to open nail polish for you, and even they couldn't open it? Well, then you just have to go and mourn the loss of a beautiful (and most likely expensive) bottle of nail polish, right? Nope! Just put a hair dryer to it!

What you need-
Stuck nail polish
Cotton balls
Nail polish remover
Hair dryer

How-
Take your bottle, and put it on the counter.
Pick up the hair dryer, and plug it in.
Put one finger from your LEFT hand (the opposite of what you are drying with) on the lid of your polish.
Turn the blow dryer on high (don't burn your hand!), and blow it on the bottle, right between the lid and the glass.
Carefully turn the bottle around in circles, still holding the dryer on the bottle.
It should heat up considerably, so be VERY CAREFUL! (you have no idea how many burns I have from doing this!)
You should hear a noise like a suction cup being pulled off of a shower wall. This means you are done.
Turn the dryer to COOL (if you have a cool on yours) and keep blowing to cool the glass off.
Unscrew the lid of the polish, and you are almost done!
Take a cotton ball and wet it with nail polish remover.
Wipe the brush on the sides of the neck of the bottle.
Set the brush upside down on the counter.
Pick up your wet cotton ball, and scrub off the dried polish on the bottle.
Make sure it is all clean, and you are good to go!
